Vital Imaging Medical Diagnostic Centers, LLC Under Investigation for Data Breach of Over 200,000 Patient Records

Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe LLP is investigating a data breach that led to unauthorized access to the sensitive information of 260,000 patients of Vital Imaging Medical Diagnostic Centers, LLC (“Vital Imaging”), a Florida-based provider of medical diagnostics and imaging services.

Vital Imaging has centers in the Brickell / Coral Gables area, Homestead, Hialeah, Doral, North Miami, and Kendall.  

On February 13, 2025, an unauthorized individual accessed Vital Imaging’s network and acquired files with sensitive information.

Although the breach occurred in February 2025, Vital Imaging did not disclose the breach to the United States Department of Health and Human Services until on or around August 22, 2025, which may have violated state and federal laws. The following information may have been compromised in the breach: medical information, insurance information, and demographic information. 

If your personal information was impacted by this incident, you may be at risk of identity theft and other serious violations of your privacy. As a result, you may be entitled to money damages and an injunction requiring changes to Vital Imaging’s cybersecurity practices.
