Motility Software Solutions Under Investigation for Data Breach of 760,000 Customer Records

Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe LLP is investigating a data breach that led to unauthorized access to the sensitive information of 760,000 customers of Motility Software Solutions (“Motility”), a Florida-based provider of dealer management software for specialty vehicle dealerships. Motility is a subsidiary of Reynolds and Reynolds, which is based in Ohio.

On August 19, 2025, Motility identified suspicious activity on its network. On September 12, 2025, Reynolds and Reynolds disclosed the breach publicly and began notifying affected customers.

The following information may have been compromised in the breach: names, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers, and Social Security numbers.
