CPAP Medical Supplies and Services, Inc. Under Investigation for Data Breach of Over 90,000 Patient and Client Records

Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe LLP is investigating a data breach that led to unauthorized access of the sensitive information of 90,133 patients and clients of CPAP Medical Supplies and Services, Inc. CPAP Medical Supplies and Services, Inc. is a Florida-based provider of essential medical equipment, specializing in Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices that assist patients with sleep apnea.

On June 27, 2025, CPAP Medical Supplies and Services, Inc. discovered that an unauthorized third party accessed files from its network between December 13, 2024, and December 21, 2024.  

Although the breach occurred in December 2024, CPAP Medical Supplies and Services, Inc. did not begin notifying affected individuals until on or around August 15, 2025, which may have violated state and federal laws. The following information may have been compromised in the breach: names, Social Security numbers, and protected health information.
