Anne Arundel Dermatology Under Investigation for Data Breach of Over One Million Patient Records

Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe LLP is investigating a data breach that led to unauthorized access of the sensitive information of 1,905,000 patients of Anne Arundel Dermatology. Anne Arundel Dermatology is a dermatology practice headquartered in Maryland, with over 60 locations across the mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions of the United States. 

On May 13, 2025, Anne Arundel Dermatology detected a network intrusion by an unauthorized individual. Anne Arundel Dermatology later determined that the breach occurred from February 14, 2025 to May 13, 2025.  

Although the breach began in February 2025, Anne Arundel Dermatology did not begin notifying affected individuals until on or around June 27, 2025, which may have violated state and federal laws. The following information may have been compromised in the breach: names, addresses, birth dates, medical information, and health insurance information.
