Aflac Incorporated Under Investigation for Data Breach of Customer Records

Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe LLP is investigating a data breach impacting the sensitive personal and health information of customers of Aflac Incorporated (Aflac). Aflac is a Georgia-based insurance company.

According to Aflac, the company identified suspicious activity on its network on June 12, 2025. On June 20, 2025, Aflac publicly disclosed the cyberattack in a filing with the SEC. The following personal and health information may have been stolen in the breach: claims data, health information, Social Security numbers, and other sensitive information related to customers, beneficiaries, employees, agents, and other individuals.
