Do You Purchase Publix Grated Parmesan Cheese? You May Be Sprinkling Wood Pulp
Publix’s Grated Parmesan Cheese products are advertised as containing 100% real cheese. However, independent laboratory testing indicates that these products may include significant amounts of adulterants and fillers, including cellulose—a filler and anti-clumping agent derived from wood pulp.
As a result, Publix’s Grated Parmesan Cheese advertising and labeling may be false or misleading, in violation of Florida’s consumer protection laws. Consumers may have the right to recover money for their cheese purchases and put a halt to Publix’s deceptive practices.
If you purchased Publix-branded Grated Parmesan Cheese and believe that you were misled, please fill out our form (at right) or contact Dustin Schubert by phone at (415) 788-4220 to learn about your legal rights.
